Our recent cold snap is definitely not freezing the entertainment scene as there are over 130 events and 70 live music acts this week! If you prefer to go to the full clickable list of things to do in Hamilton right now you can by clicking here.
If you want to forget the ice and snow, enjoy the Winter Blooms Exhibition at the Carnegie Gallery - the opening night reception is tonight (Thursday).
Are you brave enough to try some haggis? This Saturday is the birthday of the poet ‘Rabbie Burns’ with several celebrations across the city
If bagpipes are not your instrument of choice, there is plenty of variety on the music scene including Live Jazz at Shawn & Ed Brewing, a Battle of Metal Bands at Main Stage Studios, and The Final Night at The Casbah including an extensive line-up and comedy and music farewells at Merck Snack Bar.
Do you prefer a little more activity with your music? Steel City Swing is holding a full day of various dance lessons which wraps up with a social dance or you can get the Bollywood Fever at Chillis and Chimneys.
Want to vibe outdoors? There’s two organized walks this week on Saturday the Hayesland Swamp Hike and Sunday the Tree ID Walk at the RBG Arboretum. Afterwards, drop into the Just Java expo to warm up on some coffee samples.
